Bisbee Art Walk and Updates

The Bisbee Art Walk & Studio Tour in Sant Fe, NM from March 12th -14th was a great success. I was able to show my work at 17-G with Jonathan Awn and Dale Wells. There was a lot of preparation, energy and excitement. The Journal Santa Fe did a great article and showcased Jonathan's painting. It was neat to read about myself as well. The mixed media painting above was one of seven exhibited. Currently it is "Untitled."

Busy Bee

I have been quite busy, completing classes, workshops and new products, which sold at local Santa Fe holiday fairs. Just brought a new painting and pendant to the Sfe Convention Cntr. Gallery! Doing a group show in March at the Bisbee Business Park- more to come later.

Vison Shift- Art In the Age of Climate Change

"Envision a New Source" will be up in this group show at the Santa Fe Art Institute on the College of Santa Fe campus. The opening reception is Thursday, October 22 at 7:30pm.

I explored watercolor under beeswax with charcoal, corn and paper.

What's Happening

I have been very busy with creative projects. I just finished the Songbird workshop and we developed new products. I worked on few different lines of eco jewelry that may develop further. Thanks to Dena and Elaine for all their time and attention! More on this later.

I am very excited to be participating in the Vision Shift- Art in the age of Climate Change show located at various venues in Santa Fe, NM. My mixed media piece "Envision a New Source" will be on display at the Santa Fe Art Institute through the month of October. i invite you to view the following links for more information: http://santafeartinstitute.org and www.visionshift.org.

Next on the horizon is the art auction to benefit Open Hands. I will be donating a piece along with artists with a reception and pre-sale on December 11, 2009at The Edge gallery at 203 Canyon Rd., Santa Fe, NM. The auction will be December 12, 2009.

I will also be participating in the Santa Fe Community College Holiday Fair on December 12, 2009 http://www.sfccnm.edu.
